In this tutorial, I will show you how to up and running on Hashpack super fast.

What is Hashpack?

Hashpack is a Chrome extension and browser-based crypto wallet built for dApps, DeFi and NFTs. Powered by the most sustainable public network – Hedera Hashgraph.

It supports an NFT gallery, peer-to-peer NFT trading, free account creation, multi-account support, address books, and HTS support. It also has seamless Ledger integration and the ability to buy HBAR in-wallet using MoonPay. Okay, let's jump into it...

Syllabus:

This tutorial will focus on the following:

1. Installing a Google Chrome extension
2. Create a new wallet
3. Send some HBAR

Installing a Google Chrome extension:

Let's get started!..

Open Google Chrome and visit https://hashpack.com and click on any call to action that says 'Install on Chrome'.

Now click on the 'add to Chrome' button.

Now click on the 'add extension' button. This will begin the download.

Well done! Hashpack is now installed and ready to use.

Create a new wallet:

Go ahead and open the new extension. You will need to add a password and agree to the terms and conditions before clicking 'Next'.

Select 'Create new wallet'.

Note: I will be creating a Testnet wallet for this video.

I can not emphasise this enough...Copy the seed phase that you are given! Without, you will not be able to recover your account. Click 'Copy seed phase to clipboard' before moving on.

Add the seed phase words into the corrisponding input fields before moving on.

Name your new wallet and select a FIAT currency.

Note: You can change these later.

You will now be given an:

1. Wallet Account ID
2. Seed Phase
3. Private key

Click on 'Reveal Phase and Secret Key' to display your new data.

Again, make a note of these and put them somewhere safe.

Congratulations! You now have a Hashpack wallet.

Send some HBAR:

After clicking on 'Send' at the bottom of the sceen you will see this screen.

Add the HBAR wallet details that you would like to send too before moving on.

Confirm the amount of HBAR that you would like to send and add a transaction memo.

Confirming that details will complete the transaction.

If everything went well, you will have complted your first HBAR transfer from your new wallet.
